Another new member saying hello

Post by mjgerrard »

Hi all,

Obligatory post saying hello as I'm new to the forum!

I've just purchased a Z4 Coupe which I take delivery of tomorrow and I'm rather excited! I used to own a Z3 1.9 and it's sorely missed. I tried to plug the hole in my life with an MX-5 but we've never really bonded! I'll still be keeping her as a warm weather weapon though and the Z4 is going to be my daily drive.

Piccy!

Do you guys have regular meets? I'm based in Birmingham if that's any help.

Cheers!

Mike.

Welcome mike, that's a lovely coupe

There's usually meets arranged, hopefully more in the coming months. So keep your eyes open in the forth coming events section

I think the wheels are standard but not often picked. They seem to be these I think: http://www.bmwstylewheels.com/bmw/125

It's a 3.0L sport with a couple of options. No Xenon lights but other than that she's standard (right down to the lack of an aux port I think).

Thanks all, glad to be here and looking forward to meeting up if we happen to cross paths!

Funnily enough I'm from Staffordshire and now a Brummie. Originally from Wombourne (boo hiss etc). I'm quite liking Birmingham but was hoping there was a bit more parking space!

Welcome, welcome,

It is easy to miss the aux port, if there is one it is in the panel that slopes away from you between the heater controls and the ashtray/DSC button panel, on the right hand side.
Nice car....... :D

I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..

Welcome aboard - looking good!!

As much as I dislike the Z4 Roadster - I love the E86 Z4 coupe..... dreaming of a Z4 3.0si in deepblue metallic with cream leather interior.... :nerd:

Agreed, I left 25 years ago and it was terrible then. When the team had a job in the centre of Birmingham it took two people, one to drive around and the other to do the job.
