New Z3 owner in Durham

Post by mnbrennan »

Hi All

I just picked up a Zed a couple of weeks ago. It's a '99 2.0l in topaz blue. The best bit is only 48k miles on the clock.

A few jobs to do in the next few months:
- Repair the leather seats (also topaz blue). Nothing major, just some dye has come out of the drivers side bolster. I've seen a kit from the Furniture Clinic
- Refurb the alloys / buy some more. No kerbing, just some surface corrosion (bubbling) around the bolts.
- Buy a machine polisher. Some swirls in the paintwork and random stratches.
- I may get the front bumper repainted. There are some stone chips.

Absolutely loving the noise of the engine and the top down experience, especially this weekend. See below for pictures!
