Zed has come with us. Any members in the area as it would be good to meet up some time when it stops raining.

Hi Mike :wave
We have spent many enjoyable holidays each year in that area, especially in the Vendeé, just below the Loire. :sunny In fact our signature picture was taken in St Jean de Monts.

We will PM you when we come that way in 2012, hopefully 1st or 2nd week of July and maybe we can meet up for mini Zed meet and chat. :thumb:

Drove everywhere looking at property and still thinking of moving one day , you picked a lovely part of the country to live and even nicer roads to drive when the sun shines. will send you message if we get over there next year yeh. :drive

After Christmas in France Zedding along the south Brittany coast, winter has set in with temp down to -10C. Luckily Zed tucked up in the Sous-Sol under the house.
Currently using my new toy, a Ford DEXTA 5000 tractor. 4.2 litre diesel developing HP, 8 gears, top speed 27MPH, MPG about 10 on a good day. Sounds dodgy but it can do this over just about any terrain.
Greqt fun. Zed will be back out when it warms up again.

I remember "borrowing" one of those every night to trundle the two miles to the pub when I worked in the Lake District. It was like a horse and seemed to know the way home :D . Happy days.
