Well the day started OK in so far as I was up at 6am and in the Zed by 7am and then it went downhill - 3 miles down the road steering wheel started vibrating above 40mph. Tyre pressures OK, lost a balance weight? sticking caliper? Returned home and the n/s front wheel was hot out with the jack and yes it was a sticking caliper Mrs ZC to the rescue - Oh go on you can take my car So 45 mins late I set off for Coningsby to see VERA start her journey back to Canada.
Last pre-flight checks for VERA and Thumper:
VERA leads the way
Thumper follows:
The little ones following on behind:
VERA gets airbourne:
Followed by Thumper:
Started with Two
The Two then became Four
And finally the Four became Six
A forlorn and lonely Thumper returns to Coningsby
I won't know what to do with myself now but I suspect that Mrs ZC has a list somewhere!!!!
Bye-Bye VERA (Picc heavy)

Great pics.
Oh rollox. I though Thumper was the Canadian one. I've got some more editing to do .

Really good pics ZC! When it comes to these things its so worthwhile making the effort to see these things. What you witnessed will not happen again for a while (even if 'Just Jane' finds its wings again) and something to savour. Thanks again for sharing them...Pete

What are they doing about the borrowed engine? Sticking a first class stamp on it and posting it back?
