thank you very much, & I think yours looks really good too, skinny.

I do love the topaz blue, & it seems to come up much better than the artic silver, although I actually think the paintwork on that was in better condition, despite being 3 years older. BUT - by the time I put the zed back in the garage today, half an hour later, it was getting dusty!!

Very very pleased with it though - I'm so pleased I decided to swap now.

Very very nice, Sue. That looks seriously shiny. When they shine up like that, it makes you want to go get a chair and a cuppa and just sit outside and admire them, doesn't it! Will have to go out and do mine - looks like it has measles at the moment!

Cheers R.

yep, you mentioned it, muppet! :) I think it's even shinier now than in the earlier photos - it's that Poorboys World Natty's Wax & the best thing is how easy it is to polish off, compared to the Meguiars Gold Class I was using - that was such hard work.

yes, they are F1s, Shabs. she had some tyres called Marshalls on when I first tried her. I was really pleased with the F1s I'd put on the 1.9, & although I didn't really want to spend even more I thought the combination of more power, winter & c**p tyres wasn't worth the risk!

Looking great Sue.
Topaz is one of the best BMW colours.

And your Zed looks SO much like my lovely 3.0i.

dunno what happened to my reply to Spokey, earlier :? I meant to go for a drive but I wanted to do it in a clean car!! Still, serves me right as I went out today, hood down, 5 miles up the road the heavens opened. As I ws on the A1 I couldn't put the hood up...

Thank you Conor. It's great how well the topaz blue comes up.
