Calbens Pix
Calbens Pix
Ok I'm so jealous of all the lovely pictures you've all been posting I thought I'd add a couple of mine.
Not the best pictures as I was testing out my new mobile but I was trying to capture the colour that seemed to shine in the fading light even thought it's in desperate need of a polish. So no full shots of the zed, but that will change soon enough
I've also included a pic of my bargain wheels that I bought on ebay, they are not going on until the summer so are tucked up in the garage for now.
Next week it's going in for both the bumpers to be re-sprayed, the rear being badly scuffed by some barsteward at the Supermarket and the front being scratched a couple of days ago by my husband dragging the wheely bin past it this being the man who is paranoid about having his cars scratched and would pad the cars in a jacket if he could. But because of his (very fine but deep scratch) mishap he is paying to have it resprayed, to lessen his guilt
So I'll have get some before and after photos and let you see the results.

Looking good. Not bad for mobile pix and still looking shiney even though (as you say) it may need a polish.
Like your replacement alloys too. Very smart.

Thanks Guys
I know I need a few lessons in taking pics of the whole of the car lol, which I did get but the garden at the side looks like a demolition derby after our hurricane winds, so I was to embarrassed to post them
As for the wheels......well, they are in amazing condition and for the princely sum of £33 but as he delivered them to my door in between his Dr rounds I gave him £50
Hopefully I'll get some better pics this Saturday

Thanks everyone for the lovely comments. I promise to get some full centerfold piccies soon, set in stunning locations

The wheels on it now, do have a small amount of scuffing on a couple of them but they were like that when I bought the car and more recently I've noticed a fair bit of bubbling around the nut area. Really I just fancied a change and this style in particular does it for me
The plan is to get new tyres fitted in the summer when my tyres are at the end of their life and then get them fitted and balanced so now that I'm armed with that info I'll get them to put them on the inside
Will it leave a mark where they've been?

I like the wheels that are on it now too! Are they in bad nick or did you just fancy a change?

I love my zed

Thanks for telling me that Alfie, I did wonder what they wereAlfie wrote:Hi Bex.
It's a special colour.
I notice your rims have the balance weights fixed to the outside.
You should be able to have them fitted to the inside out of sight, but obviously you'll have to get them to the balancing place and pay for the service. Just a thought....

I can help you both out there Rob and Bex When's Bakewell?Robert T wrote:Looking very nice there, Bex. It really is a gorgeous colour. Looks like it changes a little in the light too - like a fascinator!
I think a couple of silver zeds parked one either side should set it off nicely!
