Hi and welcome to the forum.
Info on the lights can be found at Motormec and Chromeline Design. Hope that helps. The job of fitting them can be a DIY one, use the search function above to find out more info on fitting instructions.
Love the Z btw

Welcome to the forum, from an ex-Donny lad and fellow 2.8 owner - mine's a pre-facelift (April 1999), in Arctic silver (I presume yours is Titanium) with tanin leather, but I have the same wheels as you.
Looking at the pics of your very shiny car, it confirms my belief that silver painwork looks better without the chrome side gills. It seems to give the car a cleaner look, whereas I think the chrome gills make it look too fussy.
You're a policeman, I see. My parents were friends and neighbours of the then chief constable of Doncaster who was a great sport when he was off duty. His party trick was drinking a pint of beer while standing on his head. I never did work out how he did it.

That's what my interior was like when I got my 2.8 Topaz (apart from the gearknob which was the normal ///Mtech pack one). I personally didn't like the all blue centre consol and blue gaitor (just TOO blue ) so I swapped the two blue centre console trims to black and it contrasted nicelt with the rest of the blue leahter.shabsbmw wrote:Hi and welcolme.....
Like the colour inside, that's not standard is it.....??

Here ya are. Excuse the photo, done with my phone. It certainly changes the cars appearance. I love it. Just needs adjusting at the front as im getting a little wind noise at 60+ mph, but apart from that its great.
I bought the roof from a guy in Portsmouth and bought his brackets from him at the same time. Absolute doddle to take off and replace, about 40 minutes. Ive just got to find the heated rear window cable under the console/rear panel and connect it up, but havnt had a dry day to do it.
Got a bargain too. Roof and kit for £850. Lovely jubbly.
Will post some better quality pics soon, as this pic doesnt do it justice. xx

remove headlights from car, remove bulbs
remove metal clips that hold the front lense inplace
place in oven for 10mins at 110oC
ease the unit apart, return to oven for 2-3mins if required
once apart remove orange lenses and replace with clear ones(may need Glueing in)
fit headlamp back together place in oven again to reseal the sealant.
Some have just removed the lenses and not replaced them with clear ones.
remember to replace the bulbs with chrome ones, or you can spray them chrome.
clear side repeaters are cheapest from the $tealers
do some searches, there's loads of info

Looking really well. I'm not a big fan of the ///M badge on the kidney grille. Would look so much better without IMHO.
