Joking aside; it fits in the boot when you fold the ends of the tonneau cover in (there are instructions printed on the inside of the cover).
Good looking zed you have there adamski, must be one of the last z3's as it's on 52 plate.

Lovely looking Zed Adam. You really keep it well.
Tonneau cover is a good buy. I got one, and it really finishes off the car - but you need to have guaranteed good weather to bother putting it on. That's the only drawback.
Aslo I am not one for modifying a car in any way but I think - just looking at your car - that OEM chrome tail pipes would really set the back end off because currently tail pipes don't stand out any with black against black.
Glad to see you finally got some piccies of your car up. You kept that one quiet too long.
