I do like seeing these, what would be really cool is getting it printed off as an actual vinyl wrap for the bonnet.
It would really make some heads turn on the road

I've done it a few times, but tend to be less extreme in removing bonnet area - see below

Fab pics! I take it you took a shot with the bonnet up and one with the bonnet down then did a bit of chopping???

Yep, tripod necessary though and ideally remote shutter release
but to be honest if you do it roughly like me you can get away with just a tripod

I think a clear perspex bonnet would work nicely....but you'd have to chrome up some engine parts to make it work looking at!!!
Funny .... I was thinking just yesterday how much I'd love to chrome parts of my engine ....

I did this on my old 300zx, rebuilt the engine myself and bling'd it up a little.It looked a little shiny when finished
