Bond's Z3....Again!

Post by Buz007 »

Buz again,

Waxed and after another e-bay raid, new number plates and toneau tan hood cover to match the interior. I love the modified Z's put still proud of my 'showroom/Q Branch' example!

Off to watch Goldeneye for the 782nd time....your tolerance is appreciated

The new tonneau looks spot on, they're quite rare in this colour as well iirc!

Hi Buz.
Glad you like the Z, its my pride and joy and it doesnt go out unless clear blue skies, so thats not too often. I`ve had it chipped by chippeduk and made a great difference, has a k+n filter with heat shield i found in new york believe it or not. stainless steel exhaust chrome wheels with proxy racing tyres engine strut brace etc etc etc

I love that last shot. :thumb:

Just one thing though - can you take a couple of blocks of wood with you next time to put under the far wheels of the zed so that it sits right.

Great looking car, clearly the James Bond theme has inspired quite a number of us in a subliminal way to own a Z3.

I keep looking at Aston Martin DB4 / 5 in the same way .... oh for a Lottery win!!!!

Will have to make do with the Z3, not too much of a hardship though.

Cheers

I bought it from an Irish dealer, (via ebay) he was a great chap and very helpful. Cant believe its from a previous atlanta blue! Its fairly obvious Bond inspired me, just had the widscreen surround matte blacked just to get it a bit closer. :nerd:

it took me best part of 18 months to find this one after looking at one or 2, they seem rare in this colour and even rarer with the black and beige interior 8-)
and even rarer still with only 48 on the clock and full BMW service history

I cant say ive actually seen the owner of the Bangor one yet and any time ive seen its always had the soft top up. Cant be too many of them about im sure like you say Buz! That motor of yours is looking the part! The Black trim around the windscreen sets her off. Cant be much left to fully bond-ise her? Headlight washers, walnet interior trim...50 cal machine guns and stinger missiles? :)

....and the bond babe of course! 8-)
