Cruise control fitted 8-)

I sourced the parts from eBay and bmw, :rtm: followed the coupe forum right up and fitted it all in just over an hour!

Great upgrade if you haven't got it already

Fresh crystal clear screen went in today 8-)
It's so good looking through a new screen.. Makes you realise after 15years how many marks were on the original..

The work was carried out by Auto windscreens, very professional. Did a brilliant job.

The original screen cracked all over on removal

Image

New screen in with fresh new gasket 8-) oem green tint, same as the original.

How much was the new screen, if you don't mind me asking? Mines completely screwed, scratches all over the place and I've been considering getting a new one for a while, never got round to getting quotes though.

Which seals were replaced, and did you have to replace many clips from the plastic trim at the bottom of the screen??
I've been kicking around the replacement of mine, so any added info would be useful so I can have all the bits before they start.

Yep only changing the colour ;) I thought about changing the wheels but for the M finding suitable fitments is a mare... Only a few options unless you spend 1000s... And none look as good as the original M wheels in shadow IMO..

I borrowed a set from my cousins coupe a while back and this made me decide I had to go for them

A familiar black car in the corner of the photo... :D Oh how I miss good driving weather.

They look fantastic mate! If you don't mind asking, who refurbished them and how much was it, and are they as good as they look in photos? Mine are in good condition (fronts were refurb'd just before I bought the car and the rears are not bad either), but shadow chrome... mmmmm....

Indy from the coupe forum does an exchange deal. Takes your roadstars + cash for a refurbished set in shadow chrome.
You would have to give him a pm or I could forward you his number for a price.
There a good finish yes ;)

I'd be seriously tempted to fit the wide arches. I just don't think the insurance company would be very kind to the body modification. It is something I will keep on the back burner for when iv got some spare cash and could justify dabbling a little.

They look fantastic. Spot on!

Btw, were your cousin's wheels refurb'd by him as well? As the paintjob on them was absolutely top notch!

Finally got the wheels on today

Before they went on they had a coat of Meguires polish glaze topped with a wax using 3M marine wax. The tyres were coated with meguires tyre shine gel, great stuff and smells amazing!
