Introducing myself and my Zed.

Hi guys. thought you might be interested in taking a look at my pride n joy. I bought it off a friend that lost control of it and flipped it over. Since he had no interest in repairing it I took it upon myself to return it to its former glory. The pics here are just the highlights of the last year or more. Apart from a trailing arm which is out of camber it is pretty much back to where it should be with a few slight improvements along the way.
Hope you all approve of the repairs. Its a pleasure to be part of this Z family now... If I can be of any help to anyone along the way just let me know.
Thanks.... Zedtree :drive

Welcome Zedtree, sounds like your friend wasn't badly hurt (I hope).

Though lots of bodywork damage the Z seems to have protected the occupant and the windscreen surround seems to have taken the strain very well.
Did the roll hoops in fact touch the ground at all?
I'm interested as mine doesn't have hoops.

Well done with the project!

Hi zedtree, great job with the repair :thumb:

I assume from the pics that the car was rolled with the hardtop on :?:

Thank you

Thanks everyone for all of your kind comments on my Zed. It was a labour of love and although there were some frustrating times it was a very worthwhile effort as the car is way too nice to see it end up on top of a pile of junkers in a breakers yard.

To answer one or two Q's;
1. No one was physically hurt in the accident. Just a lot of pride dented.
2. Yes, There was a hard top fitted which took a lot of the impact, It
slid along the road on the hardtop and the bulge on the middle of the
bonnet after it flipped over.
3. The pics of the finished car are the ones posted as it is now. There is
no real sequence to the photoslide as it was my first time putting it
together and using photobucket. So please excuse the lack of
professionalism

once again thank you all for making me feel very welcome and appreciated. and I look forward to getting to know each one of you a little better in the weeks to come.

Cheers, Zedtree
