Nice upgrades, did you replace the front speakers as well? Also, are your rear speakers running straight off the headunit or are they amped?

Thanks, how does it sound? I hate my standard speakers, they are awful! I have an amp wired in and plan to upgrade my speakers, I wasn't sure whether to run a sub, or just amp the speakers!

:) It sounds 3 time better than OEM just speakers...my advise is that you install subwoofer alpine 8", than sounds is 10 time better

rear speakers could stay oem, but front you should replace...

 Yes, both, but I am married to a Dutch girl, so I could only enjoy the Lasko Pivo (Union Pivo is pea wet) and the vino, food, and the fantastic coast line.

Look's like you live near the coast.

Yo are the man 8-) ...you must try Velebitsko Pivo(bear), and Zagorsko vino :)...the coast is soo beautiful :) it s nice to hear that from people who are not Croatian ;)

Yes, I am 38 km from Coast(place Karlobag)

if you ever again come to Croatia, i sugest you to come to Lika..it s mountainous region.. 1000m above sea..but sea is so near :)

These are photos of Slovenia, not Croatia, as I can not find the pics. :head:
Don't think you would be able to surf on the Adriatic, as it is a mill pond.

I must say I've never seen anyone placing a sub in passenger's footwell. How does it sound for you? Aren't passengers (I assume you have any) kicking the membrane accidentally?

And what bulbs sit in the headlights? Planning on upgrading mine too.
I'm not a native speaker; sorry for eventual spelling/grammar mistakes.

Certainly a transformation.

The question needs to be asked.......If you intend fitting an 'M' engine why didn't you buy an 'M' ?

Thank you ;)

I didnt have plans to make m model...it was step by step...now is mission :D

it s much more fun make m model, than buy m model for me..(i have 530i e39 m optic, it s boring car, i just buy for him e39 m wheels :D, need more m5 mirrors) :?

but the biggest problem is...in Croatia we have 3 z3m roadster models, and 0 coupe m model(just one without papers)
2 of that 3 models are total crashed. the last one is in ads http://www.njuskalo.hr/auti/bmw-z3-m-oglas-4017771
condition is so poor for that car(photos in ads are old)

-rear axle 200e Croatia
-Interior(all most all) 1200e(like new) in Croatia(from car without papers)

Zedonist wrote:Your axle mod is not going to make it like an M, as the M shares the same axle as the 1.9, so was in effect what you took off, to make it an M, you need to buy the wider rear qtrs and bumper and keep the 1.9 axles, and then the actual M wheels will fit. If you buy the wider rear qtrs now, M wheels will not fit. So it is in effect modded to be a face lift Z.

Good work though to source all the bits and do the change yourself, its a big task, so well done

yes i know that...
but 1.9 axle is just look similar like m model..but its to week its easy to "broke"...

i dont want on my car m wheels, i have for my taste much more nicer wheel..

but if i want m wheel i can always fender roll, and they will fit, the car will look like wide+wide :D

with this axle, all components are much more stronger(for more hp) 8-)
