Finally got round to cleaning the Zed properly.

Roof cleaned and treated with Autoglym roof stuff

Car washed, dried, clayed and polished with Autoglym again, then the icing on the cake, Zymol wax.

Wheels done with Autoglym wheel cleaner and even did the tyres with a dressing/cleaning! Still need the wheels re-furbed but that will have to wait....

Well happy - just hope it's worth it!!

FWOOOR!!! That's a seriously deep shine, must have taken some serious work!

Not really.

30 mins to wash and dry car

2 hours to clay it.

30 mins to polish it.

30 mins to wax it.

30 mins to do the wheels and tyres.

Many cups of tea.........

Will only need re-claying every six months I believe so I can afford to spend an hour every fortnight giving it a top-up.

- i don't go quite overboard with mine but i will stand by autoglym polish, always makes the car look great.

TBH I didn't intend to spend that long on it but once you start on one panel you really have to do the rest....

Now it's been clayed I will wash it when it needs it and re-apply the Autoglym polish.

The missus was at work Saturday so was pleasantly surprised when I picked her up from work in a different coloured car to the one I dropped her off in!

Then she spent Sunday pointing out bits I'd missed with the wax..........

If I were braver I would say something along the lines of...that's what they are best at...but I'm not. I was also just massively busted!!!! At least it should be a nice night for sleeping under the stars

Sounds about right, we have a similar one...although in fairness she doesn't have a car...although I'm planning to get a bike too

...really just digging a deeper hole...
