Chrome door handle covers

Post by M3BMC »

Swallowed hard and got my outer covers from the $tealer. I put them on and went around for a while with the black inner but have just fixed on the stick on chrome inners. Don't think it looks too bad!

The outers are genuine OEM from BMW and were approx £15 each. They come supplied with a new rubber gasket which is the main part that deteriorates and can look awful when worn. The inners were £12 for the pair from ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/220840689116? ... 1439.l2649
They are metal and good quality. Can't vouch for the stickiness of the adhesive yet, but have been on for a good couple of hours now without falling off!!

Have you got the part numbers of the BMW OEM chrome covers, BMWFANS list several so it is difficult to decipher which are the correct ones.

I am just getting a list together of little bits and pieces needed. These chrome handles I think will look great against the silver and the seals need replacing anyway. I didn't fancy chrome bits on my last zed but I think these will good on the new one. :D

Part numbers are

Chrome cover with keyhole cut out
Left 51218399239
Right 51218399240

Left with no keyhole cut out 51218400395

Just saw my invoice read £15.25 each + vat so actually just over £18 for each cover
