Not really an avid poster on here, but I do have a scan from time to time.
I used to have an E46 330ci but in March I bought my M135i. Its got 3k miles on it now and is loosening up nicely, and I have to say I love it!!! Its refined and docile when you want it to be, but plant your right foot in Sport mode and all hell break loose!!
One of your more regular posters (My Red Zed aka Ian) had a little go a few weeks back, hopefully he'll give you his perspective.
Cheers

Nice to see some pics on here Stan
Fantastic car and great vfm - it's not difficult to see why this is the 'hot hatch' to choose right now. I can only imagine what the z4 sDrive35is would be like after taking Stan's 1er for a blast
btw, you need to change your sig pic....

Many people are buying the m135 (look on the piston heads forum).
Re: Stan's AW M135i
not a a fan of the new 1.... I think the designer must have let the guide dog off the lead when he did the gawpy front end. Not one I'll grow to like. But each to their own !! Im sure the drive more than makes up for the looks! (maybe Im just jealous!)

Love these and absolute bargain compared to anything else performance pound wise.
My only reservation with the F20 is perceived cost cutting, the build just feels a bit cheap compared to the E89
None the less will be looking at the facelift model when the Zed is up for replacement
Tim.
