What a great find! I was talking to a guy at a tyre fitting place near Leicester who said he had brought a new 2.8 in red that he'd hardly used - is this it?

no not me , I do live nearby though in Derbyshire

Nice looking motor Lomoto! The OEM hoops and deflector come up here or eBay quite regularly. Also try Quarry Motors for the hoops. Easy job once you've all the parts and correct trims, plus lots of info here on the Knowledge page.
