An update, have added a oe Bmw individual plaque to the centre console and a LED interior bulb which I would highly recommend to anyone who actually wants to see anything in car when you open the door when it's dark

More progress. Have added a AC Schnitzer gear knob and handbrake handle the gear knob has made the gear change a little nicer now, though ill change the gearbox oil ASAP.

Have also picked up a set of 18" staggered Cades Tyrus only problem is they are black but for the price I got them I couldn't pass them up, I will put them on see how they look and more than likely get refurbed in silver.

Hi Rob, Where did you get the LED interior light bulb from, and can you just fit it without any mods or additions?
Cheers,
Bonzo.

Hi Bonzo here's the link to the LED interior bulb, very easy to fit no modifications required and a really good mod in my opinion.

Hi, I like the idea of the LED interior bulb, had a look on the link you posted and states also for number plate lamp, would it not be too bright as a number plate bulb if it's that good as an interior bulb?

Thanks yalden, I originally bought it to put on the boot lid but when it arrived it was way too small  so thought it would look good somewhere in the cabin, I got it from a BMW dealer in Germany I will dig out the reciept and post the link, like your new individual by the way, :thumb:

Hi Bentley boy It is nice and bright in the cabin, not sure how it would be as an numberplate bulb though, not sure if it would be the right bulb as aren't the number plate bulbs the same as the side light bulbs :?:

Ah, thinking about it you are more than likely correct! Got to get one of those LED bulbs for the interior though, presume it dims as it goes off in pretty much the same way as the standard bulb?

Got the wheels on at the weekend, not a fan of black wheels so a refurb in silver is on the cards, what do you guys think :?:

The ride is surprisingly good, I thought there would be a big difference in ride quality going from 16s to 18s but once lowered it should be even better it is running 225 all round was going to go staggered but not sure now, what tyre sizes do you guys run on your 18s :?:

I'm with you. Black wheels can work on some cars in some circumstances, but I think yours will look much better in silver.

A new update to the Z, found a carbon Simota induction Kit for the Z on EBay and put an offer in and it got accepted :D I have always wanted one of these and never got a chance to fit one to my M roadster and have heard nothing but good responses/reviews.

Was pretty easy to fit though the coolant overflow pipe completely discintigrated when I try to lift it out :head: at 17 years old I guess that's expected, ordered a new one through Local BMW dealer £30 for a small piece of plastic pipe
Will report back once I've had a week or so of driving with it fitted :D

Got a pair of Titan silver side vents of ebay as thought they might look good against dark Orinoco paintwork what do you all think. All Honest opinions welcome.

Here's a couple of pics I do prefer silver wheels, will probably go with wider tyres as currently running 225 at the rear so maybe 245 or 255 rears, what do you think?

Not posted on this site for a while. Thought I'd update this journal to finish it off. So I sold the Z3 a while back now to a lovely chap that took it to the south of France where I believe it still resides. Didn't take long to get back into a zed  and currently own an E85 Z4 3.0i as my daily.
