Can you tell me the name of the dye product? My Z3 is the same colour as yours and my seats could do with some repair and a re-dye.

Thanks, Simon

Thanks, found the website and I will order some cleaner and dye later today.

Was your two-tone colour original? Mine are one colour beige.

Thanks, Simon

Wow seats look really good do you have any before shots? what colour is the inner seats as that seems to be the same colour as my whole seats, also what products did you use as there are lots of different options.

The original seats where very similar to a solid colour all beige but i think it was age that darkened it.
I checked my build data to get the trim colours, it listed oregon beige which is the centre and sandbeige but it looked alittle too yellow for my liking so the outer colour is bmw dark beige.

I used all gliptone products.
Started with their heavy duty cleaner, followed by their degreaser. At this point if your leather isn't soft they do a conditioner which after applied you lightly clean again to remove the residue.
Then you dye its a one hit dye the colour and sealer is all in one so you apply up to 5 coats with a sponge or airbrush dry inbetween coats with a hairdryer it drys very quick.
Then leave to cure 24hrs and jobs done... Took me two days to remove dye seats door cards and gaiters and then reinstall.

For your build data go here
http://bimmer.work/
If your seats are original to the car the colour will be listed.

Is it me, or are the door cards a slightly different shade to the seats?

The door cards have only had the centres dyed the same xolour as the seat centres The door carddhave a slight shine and they may be a tad more yellow as i think they are sand beige and the seats are dark beige but a match the other way with sand beige was way off but its not a million miles away.
