My System restore has stopped working, after re start I get the message that my computer could not be restored, so I tried 3 other dates, same message came up??
When Selecting “help” I get:
Restoration was unsuccessful
No changes have been made to your computer. System Restore was unable to restore your computer to the specified restore point. Select another restore point and try to perform the restoration again.
Any ideas please

what exactly is the problem?, best solution is to save any important data and re-install windows

Richard, the problem is that I have a problem with gmail notifier now making a noise when an email comes in, I don't want this but can't seem to fix it, I have removed and re installed notifier but no results, in the past sys restore has fixed a load of problems, probably all caused by me, but this time it refuses to work, I did manage to restore back by 1 day, but I need to go back about 30 days. it will not do this.richardjgreen wrote:what exactly is the problem?, best solution is to save any important data and re-install windows
