Your new sig should be 4 shiny wheels that you've refurbed yourself.

I'm no expert but so far I think you're going about it the right way and there's a wealth of experience on here to guide you if you need it.

Your sig could start off with 1 wheel

Then 2....then 3... then 4....

Anyway what you doing on here ... get out there and get on with your wheels... :D

My thoughts exactly Snoops.
Alternatively a sequence of one wheel in its various stages of restoration.
If you get really stuck jack shout up and I'll see what I can do when I return from holiday :P

 cheers guys.
it's not the photo i'm stuck with though, i just dont know how to get it to blend into the side of a larger image with my name etc on it so that the pic goes along the bottom.
i used to have a program called 'gimp' which was like photoshop but its free but i could never really use it... anybody know how to do stuff like this with it?

No problem Jack and certainly no offence taken or intended on my part
GIMP is not the easiest piece of software to use but it is free and can be made to emulate photoshop I believe.
If you want the pictures changing meantime, let me know but I'm sure you will get more satisfaction from doing it yourself :rtm:

i managed to get to grips with the editing program on photobucket and came up with this sig.
uick question (mainly to titan) how do you get your pic so long without it looking distorted and stretched? i nkow you have the additional background bits on the sides but even so.... better camera perhaps?

Hi Jack.

It's all to do with angles - in Titan's picture the car is side on and so by chopping out everything but the car, you end up with a long thin picture. I think he deliberately went out to create such a pic - and by the looks of it carefully avoiding any trees or handbags.

I didn't have any pics like that to play with, so mine is a montage of several pics of both my cars. One day I will take them both somewhere nice and take a pic of them nose to nose, which will hopefully make a good sig pic.

Cheers R.

Sadly not.
It's just one of those that "worked".
It was taken only 8 weeks after we got the car and 3 weeks after I joined the forum.
4 megapixcel camera - original image is 965kB.
I will admit having photoshopped it a bit as Dot is sat in the passenger seat in the original picture
To get the elongated shape I cropped the image in the aspect ratio of the allowable sig pic size.

Any ideas where it might be?
