Hello all.I`m new to the forum, trying to source a 2.8.Been to see one today and posted my first thread on The Stock Exchange.Tried to post a link to Autotrader but it did not work.I copied and pasted the url and it appeared in the text but in black print so would not link to site. Garrythefish kindly posted a link for me.Thank you.Can anyone tell me what I did wrong or failed to do right. Thank you.

Try to put space between the text and the link. It should work. Go down the page click on preview you will see if the link is working.

You seem to have clicked the URL button and then pasted the link in and got:

<b>[u</b>http://www.autotrader.co.uk/search/resu ... %20z3<b>rl].</b>

whereas what you needed was:

<b></b>http://www.autotrader.co.uk/search/resu ... bmw%20z3<b></b>

See how the and are paired round the address.
What Mr TheFish did was:

<b></b>clicky<b></b>

Which shortens the link dramatically, giving:

<a href="http://www.autotrader.co.uk/search/resu ... >clicky</a>

instead of

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/search/resu ... 20bmw%20z3

I have highlighted in bold the bits that matter.

Cheers R.
