Can anyone tell me how to do a hyperlink on this site. I can do them on Outlook Express but there doesn't seem to be an option here.

Many thanks

Ragtop there are two ways to do this.
Either post the link directly into the post like this: http://www.zroadster.net/forum/viewtopi ... 309#230309
Or embed it between URL Tags with the inky linky words

If you click the quote button on the top right of my post you should get the idea.
Ask more if you don't understand - it's easy when you know how, but sometimes difficult to explain :wink:

Many thanks Titan. It looked a bit scary but we managed to work it out hopefully!

We need it to post a map for a cruise we are planning in the south as the URL was massive:-

map

Actually there are four ways, Titan. :wink:

As a simple piece of text preceded by http: and two slashes:

http://www.zroadster.net

With opening and closing BBCode [url] tags:

[url]http://www.zroadster.net[/url]

With opening and closing BBCode [url] tags with link after the = and the text you want the link on between the tags:

[url=http://www.zroadster.net]linky linky[/url]

As an HTML hyperlink:

<a href="http://www.zroadster.net">linky linky</a>

Cheers R.

That seems to work OK :thumb: says he with a degree of satisfaction :devil:
When you get a loonnnggggg URL it's sometimes easier to use notepad or similar to prepare your post and then paste it back into the forum edit pane.
The biggest problem with long URLs is getting a line return in the middle of them like this:

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&sourc ... r=TN36+4AD&
daddr=military+road,+rye+to:hamstreet+to:hythe+to:dungeness+to:camber+to:winchelsea+beach+to:Barley+Lane,+Hastings,+TN35+(Hastings+Country+Park)

(I've deliberately truncated this one)
