The King John Inn, Tollard Royal

At the western end of Zig Zag Hill is the twee village of Tollard Royal. The King John Inn is apparently Madonna's local, but we managed to sneak in anyway. The staff were lovely and we had a fantastic lunch there.

Definitely worth a visit!

Hi there Spokey should have let us know you were down this way and could have met up - either at the airfield or at the Inn... Or could have taken you to the highest village in Dorset (round the corner from the Inn).

I believe she only went there rarely and was once asked to leave. She no longer lives in the area following her seperation/divorce.
