Hi All.

Jamal might be "good to go" but my call to the Club office this morning indicated this was not the case!

Panic ye not. I was told that if you have already expressed your interest to the Club Office they will contact you when they are ready to take bookings.

Mr Slade,

It's Monday, nothing ever works on a monday, you know that

On a serious note, no issues with the club office taking reservations, just got off the phone with them. However if you prefer my furry handcuffs and white glove treatment, give me a call :)

Thanks

Please tell me, Jamal Sir, if the furry handcuffs and white gloves have anything to do with the unmentionable rabbit?

Hi Jamal,
If the office hasn't already told you, Hilary and I have booked our room. I just need to dust off the car, and service it and MOT it and tax it. Then were good to go.

We are "in" for two nights. Out in the Zed on Sunday to see GG and Pat and it was fun. A shame about the rain .

Just wanted to mention to Jamal and ask whether there was a plan for dinner for those who will be there on Friday or whether it might be a good idea for me to do a bit of research and book somewhere?

My understanding is the hotel will be doing dinner for us all on Saturday, so I thought if Friday is down to discretion, we might look for somewhere different (unless there is a cunning plan afoot)?

See you all in sunny (fingers crossed) Dorset.
Best regards,

Sam Lever.

I'm also there for two nights. The Eight Kings in Portland looks good and is well reviewed (possibly by the manager's extended family) on TripAdvisor.
How many of us will be there on Friday 1st?

Fab weekend it was indeed. Great roads, fun activities and the nice Z1 crowd made it very enjoyable. Big big thanks to Jamal for organising it all and special mention to Nigel for the route and guidance. Except for the access road to Max Events. ;)

Felix you beat me to it.
Great weekend. Many thanks to Jamal for all the work behind the scenes and to Nigel for the route and managing to keep us all together.

It’s always good to catch up with the z1 crew.

Over 1020 Km and my car didn’t miss a beat.

Best wishes

Thank you again, Jamal, for organising a great weekend - an unusual and interesting venue, astoundingly well-surfaced roads (apart from the obvious), engaging activities, good food and above all, great company.
It was a masterstroke to use the cars to get to the activities, rather than just driving for the sake of it.
And thank you all for your good company.

Well done Jamal! That was indeed a fun weekend and all went really well. Thanks for organising it. Thanks to all who made it down to Dorset and made the trip the great time that it was. The cars are great - the company even better.

OK - where can we go next time ?!?
