Instrument Guages

Does anyone know if the Instrument guages are shared with any other model?

Find the part numbers in realoem.com and then go back to a search by part number and that should tell you. I would expect the aswer to be no.

I seem to remember a rumour when the Z1 was new that one or more of the gauges cam from a BMW bike. Not sure whether that is true, but always thought it went some way to explaining one of the major needles being coloured red and the other one white....

AFAIK, unfortunately, no ; these are specific Z1 parts.

The tacho in my car seems to be canted to left, the 4 k rpm indictor bar is not quite vertical. I have tried to twist the dial slightly to the right but no joy. All the numbers appear to slope slightly to the left.

It's like looking at a picture on a wall that isn't level ... annoying !!
