I went to this car show last Wednesday.

The owner was with the car when I wandered by. He told me he is/was a BMW mechanic with a Bedford dealership. Has owned the 1989 built (1990 reg) car for last 6 years. Inside looked well used but didn't check the mileage.
I mentioned the forum but he appears not to participate.
He said I should bring mine along next year.
I last went several years ago before they brought in the 20 year rule.

I looked inside the car and the mileage read something like 100k+which
is a bit leggy for a Z1 unless the speedo was in Kms.
However I assume the speedo was MPH as the fuel gauge was not in litres which as I understand amongst other things makes the car a U.K car as is mine and I think your car.
Lets hope that owner thought on what you said and does join the forum

Hi all, it's my car. Registered with this forum ages ago but I don't get much time to look in, probably should make more effort!!!!
It's a UK car, with 100,800 miles on it, everything is standard except for the BTB exhaust fitted by the previous owner and the stereo also fitted by a previous owner.
I work for the dealer in Luton, Specialist Cars, not the one in Bedford so if any of you guys need work doing you know where to come.
Been to Classics on the Green car show tonight at Croxley Green, again the only Z1 there, come on the rest of you get your cars to these shows!!!
