Its taken a year, but I think I have finally found the last piece of my Exhaust Jigsaw Puzzle.
A 2 hour trip up the M1 in the early hours of a wet and dark wednesday morning, work began on something a little different from standard.
A simple design, but shorter, narrower, 25kg lighter, more responsive at 3000rpm. Keeping the same profile of the original and you dont see any connecting bars, it sounds good without being noisy, and most important, it is quiet on startup and cruising speeds.

Didnt know what to expect when we started this little mod, but 2 weeks in and so far so good, I still have the standard system if I need to switch back. All in all, a good product, well made, experienced company, friendly staff with affordable prices.
.
There is a short video clip at the end to give you some idea of what it sounds like revved up

Maybe sometime in the future I'll look at this again.

Cheers GG,
I didnt actually need a back box, as mine is like new, but those boys at Nouvalari can be quite persuasive, after visiting their workshop with Terry, they made me an offer I couldnt refuse.

Terry,

Taking time to carry out some road tests before posting, its different to say the least, the overall quality is very good.
The only downside is the running costs, as I tend to find myself dropping 2 gears and flooring it, just to hear the sound and watch the petrol gauge move.

Your stuff has been uploaded, play away.

Cheers Ice Cube :)

But dont stop there, go all the way with a 6 branch and De-Cat for the full acoustics :thumb:

Nouvalari are developing their own versions of the above, so should be interesting to see what they come up with, focussing on giving more clearance to work with by rerouting the 6 branch pipes differently.

Finally got round to fitting my Nouvalari.com exhaust and first impressions are, that it is a superb investment and it has transformed the sound of the car. The tickover is much deeper in tone and there is nice cruising sound which whilst louder than the BTB silencer that was fitted, it is not obtrusive. The sound at tickover is achieved by using the outer 1/3 of each side of the box as an empty chamber, which is of course where the tailpipes fit. All the silencing is carried out in the centre section, which in turn gives a tremendous weight saving over the original and the aftermarket BTB silencer.
Jet, if you hear from Nouvalari.com regarding the headers and de-cat pipes that they are busy working on, let me know, as i have an interest in these and it isn't too far for me to travel and have at look at the finished article and take some pictures for anybody else interested.

Hi Roger,
It does sound nice, especially at a set of lights on tickover. I’m sure anybody that has read our posts would be fools to pay £1000 for a BTB or any other system, when you could have ours and Jets setup and still have loads of change left over!. I’m thinking of getting Jets system just to hang over the mantelpiece, as it just looks so awesome.

I can imagine Jet removing his every month and sitting in front of the TV and polishing the hell out of it! lol. And I was talking about his backbox :D

Now thats uncalled for Mr T :D

Glad you got it sorted Roger, I spoke to Richard who mentioned you had come and gone. I sent them the headers (thanks FK)and CAT centre section to take the necessary measurements, so we should get some feedback soon.

Dont forget to make some sound clips for comparison, here are some I made earlier.

Jet,

Looks great and sounds fantastic.
I was a fool that bought a BTB in february of this year :head: :head: but my backbox was acting as more of an air brake than an aerofoil !!. I would be interested in the header and de-cat section. :D

I finally got my Nouvalari mounted. Exactly the same like Jamal :D

I can only say it sound incredible, very different from what I heard untill now, a deep sporty sound. But not too loud, Top.

The four round endpipes look very 8-)

After Jamal my version was the second one produced in this layout. They improved it again by using brackets who are removable, so the flexibility has improved again.

Despite the flexibility it took some time to get it perfectly centered. Because it is polished so bright you see very good when it is not centered perfectly :D

But that was totally worth it, I'll be posting some Pics soon.
