Introducing Son of Zed

Post by Racing Tortoise »

As some of you will be aware, my green Z1 met with an unfortunate accident and is now being slowly reconstructed elsewhere. Not one to be dissuaded, I bought another and have just finished having it fettled (some mechanical, some cosmetic) which included having the hardtop resprayed to dream black.

Got it back last week and took these for the insurance company, so thought I'd share:

RT,

Looking good :D :D

The Zed 1 does look good with a hard top on.

Great to see you complete again.

Morning RT,

The car looks mint! 8-) But where is the tortoise? :puzzle:

The resprayed hardtop looks stunning. Must get one myself I think.

Thanks chaps.

I confess I haven't had the nerve to take a drill to the bonnet yet (two holes are required so you need to be very precise) so the tortoise is still on a shelf in the garage. Last time, someone else did it for me!

Hi RT

The car looks stunning...good to see you back behind the wheel of a Z1 :D
(ps. what about some sticky pads on the dashboard for the tortoise save drilling holes and keeping Henrietta dry when it rains  )

Very nice!
Shame your neighbours have such crummy cars to let the side down.

Hey

Everyone has already said it, but Your new Z does look sweet... i like the number plate too! missing your mascot though. Are you still thinking about bigger wheels or are you staying with the 16s?

Thanks. They are actually the same numberplates (ie the same actual slabs of plastic) that were on the last car, which miraculously both survived the accident intact!

Sticking with 16s for now.
