Sat Nav for my Z1

Post by benslick »

Hi guys,

I gave up smoking some time ago, so decided to loose my ash tray in my Z1 and replace it for a little Sat Nav so I don't keep on getting lost when I'm in "no mans land"....

Now I know how to do it, I will install a larger screen when I make the time for it..

Looks much better just stuck on the screen :) that way when you go on holiday you don’t have to take half your centre console with you :D

Not sure on that. Very much out of line of sight. Wouldn't something folding out of the dashtop be more user-friendly?

Terry,

I have had four sat navigation units stolen from my cars now, So let them try and get this one! You actually have to rip the whole console out to get it and in that senario i'd have to order a whole new console because of the damage they would have to cause! Now that would'nt be the end of the world. I have insurance you know! 8-)

Amazingly it has audio as well so I don't need to look down at it all the time and I like it being neatly tucked away. I don't like the look of having a tom tom stuck on the windscreen. I have already had a folding system, but they look a bit naff and seem to brake after a while.

I knew there was a reason, so you’re after a new dash and console on insurance :D :D

This should make you laugh! I showed a lady at work my sig picture, and she said it looks dangerous with the doors going up and down while driving it LMFAO
