My Z1 is "urgrun" with "gelb" (yellow/lime!!) leatherwork.
I have recently had the paintwork to the bonnet redone and want to renovate the leatherwork. Anyone got any recommendations as to a suitably competent local company to approach?
Also is there a source of sensibly priced spares? I need the bits of leather trim at each side at the rear with the flaps that fold up when the hood hinges fold out??? They are available throught the BMW network but at about £250 each side!!!
I live in Salisbury.

Z1 Leather Renovation
Can't recommend a supplier that can help you with this.
If you're into elbow grease, check Paul Drawmer's site.
I also "suffer" from the yellow/lime interior.
I use toothbrush + trainer shampoo to clean off the scuffs
then protect with Autoglym leather treatement.
If you do find a supplier that can recondition leather, then please let us know via the board.
Cheers,
A

There was a vendor at Homecoming in the States who was doing leather recon on people's cars. Amongst other things he was using wet-and-dry to prepare the leather surface, mixing up leather dye on the spot from a huge range of colour bottles. He then air brushed it on using a mouth-operated spray and a piece of card with a split hole that he could manipulate to be the size he wanted.
