Post by Stoertie »

today I visit the homepage of Michael and Peter, two brothers who share a Z1 in Austria...

..and I saw this absolut fantastic car:

I think it's the most beautyful Z, I have ever seen!

More pics you can find here or at the main page where you also can see the old look of the car (black/dark grey)

best regards
Michael

I could never drive that but it looks surprisingly good.

I'm still jealous of anyone with the red/white rear lights.

Hi Jamal,

I'm nearly on the way to the mountains... it's time again for kurves and coners. ;)

As I'm informed the engine of this car is original. There is no need for a tuning, when you look at the times from their race training:
Platz 1: Michael Porsche 996 43,291 sec
Platz 2: Peter BMW Z1 43,333 sec
Platz 3: Martin Porsche 996 44,875 sec
Platz 4: Robert Alpine V6 45,291 sec
Platz 5: Hubert Lotus Elise 46,166 sec
Platz 6: Günther Porsche 911 47,041 sec
Platz 7: Georg Porsche 964 49,375 sec
@RT:

Why are you jealous of us?
When I looked for Z1-drivers who want to have a set of the "limited White Edition" in Oct/2006, it was so hard to find enough who signed in. - You just had to say here I am... ;)

best regards
Michael

Because in October 2006 I was living in Russia so it was logistically difficult plus back then the price was more than I could justify.

Good thing I didn't either, because otherwise the world would be down one set after last year's accident...
