Z1 on TV!
On Saturday nights, BBC4 is re-running episodes of "Inspector Montalbano", a 1990's Italian detective series set in Sicily, much to the delight of my girlfriend, who is Italian and a fan of all things Sicilian. So it was duly recorded and watched.
It was actually quite good but immeasurably better when, amidst all the cops dashing around in battered Fiat Tipos, a key murder suspect turned out to a tall blonde Swedish nymphomaniac female rally-driver (what's not to like?) who is first spotted as a set of long legs dangling out of the open door of a parked red Z1 (you should have heard my deeply sad gibbering yelp of "look, it's a Z1")! There's a shot later of her getting into it (great technique) and waving seductively at the main character as the door slides up and then she roars off into the night with some neat fishtail action.
If it's on iPlayer, I recommend looking it out. It's episode 3 out of 10, called "The Shape of Water".

Re: Another movie part
`Small` is a slight exaggeration, it is mere Milliseconds long, watch the whole film, typical high octane Jackie Chan Action flick, worth watching.Traumschwarz wrote:The BMW Z1 also had a very small part in the Jackie Chan film, Armour of God II: Operation Condor.
BBZ,
I want to cut out all the fight scenes from my fav Chan movies and stitch them together on one DVD, the question is, I know you have the knowledge, but do you have the equipment to do that?
