Any chance of using photobucket or Flickr? Is it just me that's a Non FB user?
Re: Silverstone Classic
Great to meet up yesterday. A few more photographs Jon and I took are at http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set= ... 657&type=3.
Not all are Z1 or even BMW related.
Many thanks to the organisers for putting on a fine show with some decent weather.

I also wanted to thank Roger for cranking it over until it started! Well done Roger, your persistence delivered a great result. The link below goes to a video of the parade lap that I've posted on Youtube. OK, the quality ain't great but as my Dad had only just wooken up from his beauty sleep I thought I would do the photography! I was also a little preoccupied with the consequences of dropping my iphone and having it driven over by the 27 following Z1's!
http://youtu.be/j1D5LZW1UKU
Under the circumstances it is ok - lots of Roger and Linda but then we were at the head of the queue.
Roger - I still have the HD version of this on my iPhone if you would like it. I tried several times to post it in HD but Youtune didn't like it each time.
Well done chaps. Let's keep flying the flag!

Re: Silverstone Classic
What a great day out and so nice to meet up with you guys again, who'd have thought some 20 odd years ago these cars would be going round Silverstone. Jet your right I counted 29 Z1's as well inc.2 R/H drive versions one a Griffin conversion and the other I believe was done by BMW. I have to say I was staggered how clean Ian M's & DPW's engine bays were as I'm sure Jet's would be. Thanks to Roger for arranging the meet at the Super Sausage Cafe we had a great breakfast...see you all next time Keith

I just remembered, its the BMW show car and Sytners, who all had a Z1 present.
Re: Silverstone Classic
An excellent day, the weather was kind and it was good to catch up with fellow Ferguson TE 20 enthusiasts.
Those who were missing have the opportunity to redeem themselves at Gaydon on the 19th August.
No photographs as I forgot to pick up the camera on the way out, which probably wasn't as inconvenient as forgetting car pass and tickets.

Also name and shame the Z1 owner who tore off the ticket counterfoils before entering the circuit!

Hi, thanks to all who made the day possible. Had a great time and it was nice to meet up with lots of other Z1 owners and put a face to their forum names.
