Seats are horrid but the colour looks normal enough?

That car's been up for sale before in the past few years - there can be only one with those seats...

I've seen that M5 engined 3.0 csl, it was for sale at a local E-Type Jag specialist, everything on that car is excellent, apart from the horrific fit of the drivers door, ie, it doesn't and catched the rear jam. At the price it was originally up for £ 45k +, you'd have thought that would be remedied, amybe it has been, but no picture on that side ??

If it is the same car the doors have been fixed, both fit perfectly . There is a post catalogue note that the car was subject to a total loss payout. Looks very nice .

Some has just paid £260k plus 12% commission plus 20% vat for a motorbike !

Is it? Considering the non standard interior?

Granted that interior is nasty but I can't be the only one who thinks ALL the standard interiors are basically horrible reminders of what wasn't good in the 1980s and that a decent re-trim shouldn't kill value?

15K sounds good for an auction, it also depends on the overall condition of the car, afterall if it was pristine it wouldn't be in an auction

The Z1 was not sold. At £15k bid the purchase price would have been just over £17k.

The seats were an old modification given the wear on the drivers seat bolster. The Z1 purists would wince but in the absence of new material the original yellow trim would have been difficult to repair. The car had been repainted in 2009 but poorly masked from the over spray evident which was a pity as the finish on the panels was pretty good. Three owners from new with a BTB exhaust. The 635 CSi was sold for £4.5k all up .. it was tatty on close inspection. I did not wait to see the 3.0 CSI sold ... estimate £32k - £36K but recorded as not sold.
