LeftHand side Rear light assembly

I imported my Z1 in the NL and during the import process we discovred that the left side rear fog light was broken. Or so we thought.

It turns out that in the RHD UK versions no fitting was placed in the LHD light for the rear fog light.

I am therefore looking for a Left hand side rear light assembly!!

Anybody can help?

There is a small modification in the rear light to accommodate fog, perhaps thats whats missing, as I thought all early cars were the same, aren't they?

It's true that the LH fog light doesn't function on UK market cars, but I heard that the fitting is there, it just isn't wired in. No personal experience, may be totally wrong, but are you sure you need the whole part?

There is indeed no fitting, thought had to get the whole part!!

And no its not RHD, my bad...

So managed to get a fitting for the light, but it is not wired to the main connectotrs.

Anybody knows what pin is needed to complete the circuit?

I "think" it is simply wired in parallel to the RHS, mine certainly seems to be.

E13 is the fog light

S9 is the switch

X10 is the connector (7 pin)

X38 is the switch connector

"194" is the line to the control symbol of the dashboard

Colors code are:

BR Brown
GE Yellow
GR Gray
OR Orange
SW Black
VI Violet

So I ran a cable from the right to the left side, only possible solution, beats me why there was no pin installed in position 6 from the factroy.

I did get a pin, but would have to cut open the assembly to fit.

Problem splved, although not entirely to my satisfaction
