Z1 attendance at Silverstone Classic Saturday 27th July

Post by Bluebaur »

Now that we are only a few days away from this years Silverstone Classic, it is time to consider a meeting point prior to entering the Silverstone circuit.
On the Saturday morning it is proposed that we meet again at the "Super Sausage Café" near Paulersbury some 6/7 miles south of Towcester on the A5. The "Super Sausage Café" (post code NN12 7QD) is approximately 10 mins. away from the circuit and boasts large car park, hot and cold food dishes, takewaway sarnies etc.

What do you think to that? A meeting time of 08:30 onwards to leave for Silverstone in convoy sometime after 09:00.

We're travelling from the north so we'll be driving straight to silverstone. Does anybody know whether the intention is to group all the Z1's together?

Hey Roger,
I am in the 911 this year as part of the celebrations for the 50th and so on, so I won't be part of the little group, but Super Sausage worked well last time and is a good place to meet up.
I'll come and look you guys up at some point during the weekend.
Best regards,

Sam Lever.

Just trying to find out where we are going to be placed, initial thoughts are if we arrive together, we will be placed together.

Keep you posted.

BB,

Its hard to tell from the responses, but I estimated the attendance at 15 cars or more to get us all together, what do you think?

Sorry guys,

I am TVR mounted this year. After a continental trip I am close to utilising my Z1 related annual mileage allowance.
