What we doing next year?

Post by Jet »

Yo, wassup homeboys?
What we doing next year and when we doing it? If we want Ettington Park Hotel, we need to start thinking about and reserving rooms now.

There is a London to Brighton Z Tour in May?
Our annual Z1 Pilgrimage?
How about a supercar drive and Z1 tour?

Open to suggestions....

I hope SOMETHING's arranged for a Z3 meet-up in the south next year! I enjoy Goodwood Breakfast Club meetings and the Revival of course, but Z3's are very thin on the ground. Can't quite imagine what it would be like to be in a bevvy of them! Will be checking this site out regularly in the hope!

They'll be plenty going on next year. I'm central England but if my memory serves me correctly Joycey organised a southern meet/cruise earlier this year I think.
Keep an eye on the up and coming events on the home page. :)

Cheers

From a purely selfish standpoint  how about something on the Continent? If it's not "old hat" for you island-dwellers, maybe we could do a long weekend in Western France over one of the May bank holidays? I'd be happy to help set up things on this end if that suits. Also happy to participate in another UK event if in May.

Budget, Billz and Maurice the Martian are doing Spain next summer, they were on here asking if anyone was interested. Maybe you could tag along? :)

Jamal

It was good to catch up yesterday at the NEC.

Ideas for next year ? .. other than the usual Gaydon, and Silverstone

A cruise to Rene Vissers workshop and perhaps meet up with continental Z's. Is Frederic arranging and event next year ?

A trip to the Mercedes driving experience / Lotus Driving experience and factory tour in Norrolk, Palmer Sport with BMW M3 GTP. ?

A weekend cruise based on something like the Haynes motor museum or the VSCC Prescott weekend.

Regards

For Prescott events, see this link: http://www.bugatti.co.uk/events.aspx
Lots of nice driving roads round there too.
Sadly I can't make La vie en bleu in 2015 as I'll be hosting some other French people, but I'd be happy to help organise an event around any of the other weekends.
What's interesting, and what suits?

I returned from a trip to Rene yesterday and can confirm that it's a great drive to get to him, there's a fine welcome when you arrive and nice places to stay and things to do.

Homeboy reporting in... Good idea to start planning early Jet
Ettington Park Hotel was good last time we went, I for one would be happy to repeat.

Any plans yet? May is only 5 weeks away and Summer will be here (we hope) before we know it...

Hi Mark,

The only stuff in the pipeline is UK based I'm afraid, Silverstone, Gaydon and a meet the night before the National Festival. I will update by next week, hopefully you can make it.

Hi All,
Things have been pretty quiet on this forum lately! Are you hiding and communicating elsewhere?
Did I miss any group plans for Silverstone? Early bird booking finishes tonight so it would be helpful to know which day the majority are attendingI.

Hi Pat
I don't know of any Silverstone group plan, although I'm sure some of the usual suspects will be there.
I'm going on the Saturday. See you there maybe?

I shall definitely not make Silverstone. It coincides with my son's wedding on 25 July.

Hi Jamal

Understood. Please do clue me in on the dates and plans so that I can try to make it to at least one more event.

Merci!
