With the potential collapse of the Euro and a possible loss of about 20% against the pound, Z1s are going to be much cheaper for UK buyers sourcing from Europe.
What do you reckon ? Will our cars go down in value ?
Not that it makes much difference to me as I'm not selling at the moment but increasing values do offset the higher maintenance costs.
Price prediction
Re: Price prediction
Logically, since the principal market for these cars is mainland Europe, values denominated in other currencies, e.g. sterling, will tend to decline. On the other hand, for a Euro-zone enthusiast, buying in a Z1 might seem more attractive than other investments, which should stabilise prices. And spares prices *should* become more reasonable, since most are sourced from Germany.
Re: Price prediction
I don't know about Z1, but looking at Z3 prices they look like 2 times more cheaper in UK than in Europe. Maybe that's because of LHD/RHD differences, but that's how it is.
