VIN CODER Birthdays

Post by Jet »

Happy belated birthday AL00135, arguably the best Z1 ever made, Dream Green with post-it note leather, (Yes, Dream Green) :D . According to this little VIN decoder, he is now 28years and 17days old, you have served me well.

How old is yours?

Belated birthday to Blue Baur Z1, your baby was born March 3rd, according to the decoder.

Don't anthropomorphise cars; it upsets them.

I still think the the OEM 'shoes" are the best.

Born 29/09/89 Registered for use on the road 1/01/90 in Guernsey (uk car)

No issues with shoes here either, the OEM ones plus one spare I picked up second hand. Jet your wardrobe must be full :D

However 16" tyres (or is that socks) are an issue now, Continental the last big name to supply (I have on mine) aren't available. Next best sock Toyo? :shrug

Shoes are not the 'sole' domain of the XX chromosome you know, sexist! :D
Besides, I've decided today that my car is gender neutral.

Mine was built in August 1990 but was not registered until April 1991, in Turin, to Eddie Irvine. Perhaps that indicates the increasing difficulty BMW encountered in selling this unique but by no means overpowered car. I wonder how much Eddie paid for it?

Very little, if anything at all I imagine, these lucky buggers get given all kinds of stuff to promote.
