Bicester Scramble
Re: Bicester Scramble
It was an amazing show. Such a lot to see - and then some BMWWs too.
We met Jamal but no other Z1 people.

Re: Bicester Scramble
There was another, the guy standing right next to me when we all spoke, you even said hello to him Saying that, he arrived in an Exige S, so you might not have recognised him.
Good show, my first time, getting away took a while, but Bicester in general seems to grind to a halt on Sundays, maybe because of the village?

Re: Bicester Scramble
I left a little before you, Jamal. The queues were made worse by two crashes on the ring road round Bicester, which forced people to go through th town centre to reach the M40. Fortunately, neither of the accidents seemed to have involved people attending the Scramble. When I attended the Scramble in April, it was very easy to get in and out of the site.
Re: Bicester Scramble
Spring is here.
Another Bicester Scramble tomorrow morning, with a BMWCC stand.
I'm planning to take one of my neighbours but we'll leave before the end, to avoid the queues at the exit.
Is anyone else going with a Z1?
Happy New Year.

Re: Bicester Scramble
Sorry guys, I had hoped to get to Bicester, but didn't buy any ticket in advance, as I knew I had a stack of bits to do instead and it was just as well. Glad it was worth going to though. Best wishes to one and all.
Best regards,
Sam Lever.

Re: Bicester Scramble
Mine was the only Z1 present though there was a fair mix of BMWs in the club area. On the roads of the Heritage site, the range of vehicles on display was amazing. Well worth a visit as long as your household and business chores could be delayed a few hours. Back to the hoover now to make up for the morning out.
Re: Bicester Scramble
Well done Chris. Thanks for flying the Z1 flag!
The Scramble sounds interesting and I will try and make the next one when I put my car on the road after it's hibernation!

I've just booked my tickets for 23 April - hopefully I'll meet some of you there. Toby
