Looks for all kinds of parts to fix our Z1 1989

Post by 1autobahn1 »

Here are some of the big things to start...
Shift boot
Center console rear section
Front bumper complete
L/R door skins
Front air duct for radiator
Right side door complete
Right side lower panel
Lots of other small things...let me know what you have.

Thanks,

Sean

Have you checked RealOEM to compare part numbers with other models.

Shift Boot, for example, may also be fitted to an E30.

Even the shift boot is a different material.

i have checked real oem. can get some of the parts new that i need but would like to find as many used if possible. it is great that bmw still offers the parts new.some mechanical and small parts are interchangadle with e30's but shifter boot is unique.

Hi,

It might be worth trying René Visser of RKV Trading in the Netherlands. Last time I was there he had a variety of panels. Also Udo Pott of Potti's Garage in Germany.
There appears to be more activity Z1 activity on Facebook than on this site recently but I cannot advise as I do not use social media!

Good luck
