Fill In Flap, Hinge Plate

Post by xyobgyn » Sun 23 Apr, 2017 03:15

Found this part on my desk, cleaning up.

Searching on Realoem I find its from my Z1.

Can anyone describe where it goes, what it does?

41 63 2 291 033

Don't want to throw it out.

Thanks in advance. Its a plastic bit, has two holes to fasten it to something.

Will try and post an image, not my strong suit.

Alex.

(Ok, I'm guessing this may have to do with the Fuel Fill plastic cap, possibly something it snaps into. I don't recall working on this part of the car, or replacing anything, but its been a few years since I would have possibly replaced the cap or something.)

Hi,

What I believe you have is the hinge part of the Z1 fuel filler flap. It can only be bought with the flap. The part number you quote is for the flap with hinge part.

Hope this helps!

Hi
It sounds like it is what I am looking for. Is it still going and if so how much do you want for it. The part number is 41.63-2291033.9

Hi,

in a German forum a user named "Kuvy" made this part as a 3D-print. For more information click this link: http://www.zroadster.com/forum/index.ph ... el.117260/
