suggestions for insurers
suggestions for insurers
Any suggestions for whom to insure a Z1 with? A limited mileage or classic policy is fine as I want to keep my NCD on my primary car.
Re: suggestions for insurers
I've had a few different insurers for the Zed over the years. Adrian Flux seemed good (with the BMWCC policy) but got more and more expensive each year (more expensive by quite some way!! )felix wrote:Any suggestions for whom to insure a Z1 with? AON were very good - HALF the price of A/Flux, but insisted on lots of photos and wanted me to remove my Bosch factory fit alarm system for a CAT1 system (which I refused to do and they gave in eventually!)
Livingstone's are by far the best I've come across yet....
5,000 mile policy
200 Excess
No photo evidence needed
Classic Car flat rate policy (as all the others have been)
No need to change the alarm
They haven't even asked for the current mileage!! (But don't tell them!!)
33yr Old Driver
Central Bristol address
6 points
1 claim (stereo & kit stolen from another car))
G/Friend added to policy (I'll NEVER let her drive it - but it makes her feel good!! )
All this for the excessive sum of £239.00!!
Give them a call - can't recommend them enough....
**EDIT** Just got home and dug out their number: 01935 706258 or website: HERE or email: enquiries@lwib.co.uk
Regards,
Bruce.
Livingstones quoted me for just over £400 and couldn't explain why the discrepancy between that and Bruce's price. This is for an over 40 diver, no points, one no fault claim, safe post code, etc. And they didn't seem too bothered. We went with NU Direct for just over £200.
editted - how on earth did this post get in above ChrisM's when it was posted in response to his and so obviously later than his?!
