Interior Light

Post by TJS »

Anyone know where the door sensors for the automatic interior light is located ??

The interior light remains on when the switch is set to auto mode (fully up)

Off, (centre), and permanently on, (down), work fine.

Do both the lights stay on,or just one side?

Both lights ???

Odd ... I only have an interior light on the right hand lower dash (which has given up the ghost in auto mode) and the map reading light on the rear bulkhead which is manually operated.

Seems the auto on/off function is kaput on both doors so maybe it's the light itself. Certainly not bulb or fuse.

That's strange...I'm sure there is supposed to be an equivalent light on the left hand side too. Mine does :?:

Me too - light on both sides (in the same place both sides) as well as the map light in the middle - that I've NEVER found use for! :?

Sorry, but I don't know what circuit powers the lamps - it might even be built into the door control units in the lid of the battery compartment?

Regards,

Bruce.
