Hi all, I am just at the point of being totally confused with the amount of choice, quality and availablity of Z3's available to purchase and need some guidence of what to look for when purchasing a Z3, I'm looking for a Z3 around 2001 1900, engine and to pay around £7000, can any one give me any tips of what to look out for before I make my final purchase? If you help me with this I swear on the Zroadster's honor to be a member for life!!

2001 with 1900ccs for around £7k will be tough to find.
1999 1.9s and early 2.0s (with high miles) are more in this price range.
1998 2.8s with average miles would be available for this amount of cash - but with a 2.8, you will have higher fuel, insurance and tax bills.

There is a couple out of hundreds, which i've narrowed it down, one is 2000 x plate with 54,000 one owner fSH for £7000 the other is a 2001 Y plate 49,500 2 owners FSH £7,700. Does this sound reasonable as long as the car is tidy? What else should I be looking for?

Use the Search button before posting newbie questions about hard tops and fitting kits, footwell speaker amps, water in the boot, hood maintainance and those horrific angel eyes. We get like 10 threads a week on the same subject, it's obvious that you haven't searched.
