Tranny / Diff Question

Post by dj888 »

Hi guys!

I have been a lurker for a long time and have finally mustered enough courage to post up a query.

I got my zed a couple of months now and it truly is an amazing experience to drive one.

However, I hear a faint whirring sound that is coming from the differential at 2-2.5 RPM whenever the tranny is engaged (A/T) I am quite sure that the problem concerns my tranny as when I shift it to neutral, the whirring sound from diff goes away.

What do you guys reckon that I do?

Many thanks!

Its not uncommon to hear a bit of noise from the diff,if its not to loud change the oil, this might reduce the noise.
