New Convert

Post by Skye08 »

Hi All,

I have just joined the forum after lurking in the background for a couple of weeks.

I have been pondering for about 8 months as to what kind of roadster to buy and I have decided it has to be a Z3.

I have been a slave to the 3 pointed star for years and now feel I have to move over to the blue and white propeller - I am sure I will need therapy to work through this issue;-))

I am apologising in advance for any stupid question I may ask.

Thanks

Don't worry - you will soon get over this temporary phase.
However you may beat yourself up for wondering why it took so long to see the light :sunny

Welcome Skye,

You'll love the Z especially if its your first BMW.

You will find the BMW's more "fun" to drive than mercs

Usually prices inflate during the summer and waiting would be sensible.
However with the weather as it is you may find a bargain sooner.
There is also the problem of whether you CAN wait that long :D
The longest bit is between deciding on the one you want and actually getting it.

Happy hunting :)

Yes waiting is the hard bit of the process, especially when reading posts on this forum....I am not sure being a green eyed monster is attractive;-))

Welcome Skye

Bargains can come up at any time of the year due to seller circumstances.

Keep an eye on Autotrader, ebay and Pistonheads Classifieds.

Don't forget the stock exchange part of this site either.

Welcome to our group Skye. Good luck with finding a Z.

BMW and Merc have a lot of things in common, but the Z3 is an exeption to all the rules.
I know you will enjoy.
