Demon Tweeks has a half price strut brace for a 1.8 Z3 £40,also a Spax lowering kit for a 4cyl Z3 £240 was £400.Hope this info is of some use.

hi maxman thanks for the link, seems the strutt brace has now sold out, the lowering kit still available .
