Harewood 2010

It is a long way off but planning is underway for Cars in the Park 2010, at Harewood House near Leeds.

In September this year 16 Zeds turned up for a very enjoyable day - and I for one will definitely be going again next year.

The dates proposed are September 12th or September 19th and a vote to select the date is currently being run...see www.carsinthepark.org.uk

I hope lots of other forum members will be up for it again next year.

I'm hoping to make as many as I can aournd the north west next year and this will be top of the list together with Tatton Park

I would definitely do this again next year, as long as the date doesn't clash with anything workwise.

We were lucky with the weather in hindsight with most of the get togethers last year I went to (I even got sunburnt at some

) but even when its like our Blackpool Cruise ie rain rain rain, they are still great fun.

I'm looking forward to both the official and unofficial local meets next year already

I'm pleased to hear that there is already interest in this.

If you can't wait until September, the same organiser runs a meet at Newby Hall near Ripon, North Yorkshire in the spring. The date is not fixed for this yet either, but it is a good excuse to get the polish out early.

I will be running a cruise around Yorkshire in April, so there is oportunity for us to meet up then. Watch out for a post in the New Year.

The date for Harewood House is confirmed as September 12th.

Looks like Newby Hall will be 9th May.

We had a good time at Newby this year - the cake stall was fantastic.
I don't think I've ever seen flapjack quite as thick/solid/soft and tasty
